About Mimi

The owner of a wonderfully adorable dog named Percy (seen standing majestically above). Mimi has a love of all things Harry Potter, and travel. She spent a year abroad in Spain after high school as an exchange student and tries to experience new cultures and ways of life as often as possible. Through such experiences she has pushed the boundaries of her comfort zone which have taught her about herself as a person.

She enjoys the idea of mindfulness and taking time to appreciate the world around her (attempting to do this as often as possible despite a constant drive to accomplish things). She also enjoy the art of writing. Placing words just so in unique pairings to attempt to create a glimpse of what is going through her mind. Then leaving them out in the open for those perusing the inter-webs to catch and interpret to their liking.

She is only just beginning to discover and explore her passion for the learning sciences and all things related. As a multidisciplinary field that relates to everything she often finds herself simultaneously overwhelmed and excited at the prospect of becoming acquainted with theory and practices related to the learning sciences. She plans to begin graduate school in Fall os 2018 to pursue a degree in this broad area and hone in on areas of interest.
